Rowan are pleased to announce that our research paper, co-authored by Ciara Wickham and Tom Rowan in conjunction with Joe Benson and Prof. David Taylor of Trinity College Dublin on “Predicting the degradation of slip resistance in footpath paving materials,” has been published in the Wear journal and is now accessible online.
The Paper looks at how slip resistance of footpath paving materials changes over time and the development of an accelerated wear test machine to predict this change. The overall ambition of this research is to assist local authorities and occupiers to design and specify sustainable slip-resistant pavement surfaces.
