The Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Ireland. This position offers a hybrid working model, based in either our Trim, Co Meath or Oranmore, Co Galway office, providing the opportunity to work on diverse projects in the areas of EPA licensing, compliance auditing, and environmental management. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to develop their skills, contribute to sustainable practices, and gain hands-on experience in environmental consultancy.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about environmental sustainability and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. They will work under the guidance of senior consultants, gaining exposure to environmental compliance, EPA licensing, and best practices in environmental management.
You will have the autonomy to complete excellent work your way, in accordance with the company vision to ‘Provide Excellence with a Sense of Humour’. There will be regular contact and support from the Environmental and Managing Directors. Hybrid Working arrangement with 2 days per week based in a Rowan Office.
Competencies
The required candidate must have the following knowledge and attributes:
- A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.
- Experience working in the Irish environmental and planning legislative contexts with EPA
- Licencing and report writing / review.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- 2+ years’ relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and solution driven.
- A full clean driving licence.

- Capable of working under supervision and taking direction while contributing positively to the team.
