The Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineering Surveyor to join our team. This position is based in our Trim office and will require travelling to site in the greater Dublin area. The role will provide the opportunity to work on diverse projects in the areas of construction, earthmoving, aerial surveying, 3d modelling, CAD drafting and GPS machine control.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about construction and surveying and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. They will work under the guidance of senior consultants.
You will have the autonomy to complete excellent work your way, in accordance with the company vision to ‘Provide Excellence with a Sense of Humour’. There will be regular contact and support from senior consultants and Managing Directors.
Competencies
The required candidate must have the following knowledge and attributes:
- A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in Geomatics / Civil Engineering / Building surveying or related discipline.
- Work experience in a surveying role
- Ability to manage projects and workload
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and related software
- Good technical and communication skills
- Be self-motivated and solution driven
- A full clean driving licence

- Eager to learn, liaise with site and senior surveyors to complete requested tasks to a high standard.
- A proactive approach, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Capable of working under supervision and taking direction while contributing positively to the team.
- Comfortable engaging with clients, peers, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Ability to think analytically and apply creative solutions to project challenges.
- Prepare set-out data, drawings and reports as required.
